School: it is not the same. And yet…it is.
It is not the same: We make sense of new guidelines, and we persevere.
It is the same: We love children, and we love each other.
It is not the same: There are new routines and procedures to help keep us safe and healthy.
It is not the same: We have our temperature checked every morning upon arrival.
It is not the same: We wash our hands more often and use hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.
It is the same: We focus on learning.
It is the same: Our commitment to children remains the same: high-quality, multi-sensory learning experiences that honor our mission and pillars.
It is the same: We are grateful to our families for their trust. We are grateful to be together to teach and to learn. We find joy in the moments: the hard ones, and the happy ones.
School: it is not the same. And, it is the same.
